Andrés Þorleifsson completed a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Iceland in 2010 and pursued further postgraduate studies at the University of Freiburg in 2011. He has worked as an adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of Iceland, at the Office of the Special Prosecutor, at the District Court of Reykjavík, at the Financial Supervisory Authority of the Central Bank of Iceland, and since the beginning of 2026 he has been working at the National Association of Pension Funds.
