Anna Thoresson obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from Uppsala University in 2021. She also holds a Master’s degree in Economics from UCL and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Industrial Organization from the University of Warwick. Anna’s primary research fields are in labour economics and applied microeconomics. Her research focuses particularly on wage setting and wage structure, gender differences on the labor market and immigration. Anna works as an assistant professor at Reykjavik University. She is also affiliated with the Institute for Evaluation of Labour Market and Education Policy (IFAU) and Uppsala Center for Labor Studies (UCLS).
