Ulf Nielsson is an associate professor of finance at Copenhagen Business School, as well as holding part-time position at the University of Iceland. Ulf holds a M.Phil. in financial economics from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University in New York. His research focuses on financial markets and household finance. Ulf has received several awards for his international research contributions, such as the pan-European De la Vega prize, the Sapere Aude elite researcher award and the Tietgen gold medal. Ulf has also been recognized for outstanding teaching at both Columbia University and Copenhagen Business School. He is regularly cited in the media and periodically works as a consultant to the industry and the judicial system.
